An informative tour of Neuhaus Castle

To mark this year’s ‘Day of Gardens and Parks’ organised by the Regional Council of Westphalia-Lippe (LWL) on Sunday 14 June, the Local Heritage Authority and the team behind the European Heritage Label ‘Stadt.Mensch.Fluss. – The Pader for Europe’ invite you to an informative guided tour of Neuhaus Castle at 2 pm.

Under the 2026 focus theme “Precious Water”, the elements of water and gardens will take centre stage during the guided tour through the historic town centre and the baroque castle gardens. Both private and public open spaces here are strongly characterised by water and have always held historical and economic significance for life in Schloß Neuhaus.

The tour begins at 2 pm and lasts approximately 70 minutes; no booking is required. The meeting point is at the bridge leading to the castle, coming from Residenzstraße.
