Claudia Warnecke and Michael Ströhmer in an interview on WDR 3

Under the title “Small but mighty: The Pader receives the Cultural Heritage Seal”, our programme director Dr Michael Ströhmer and the Deputy Mayor for Technical Affairs, Claudia Warnecke, were recently interviewed on WDR 3 Mosaik. The presenter, Claudia Friedrich, focused on the city river as a defining symbol of Paderborn’s life, politics and culture.
Her questions covered the historical criteria required to receive the seal, as well as the implications the seal holds for the city. Michael Ströhmer and Claudia Warnecke also discussed the uniqueness of a river landscape that has evolved over the centuries and the responsibility that now arises from this heritage title.
