EKS training for Paderborn tour guides

We are delighted that we were able to train 26 Paderborn tour guides last week. On the occasion of our application for the European Heritage Label 2025, we trained them on a total of three dates on the topic of the Paderborn river.

At our kick-off event, we gave them an initial insight into the core idea and the EHL application process. This was followed by a brief outline of the European dimensions of the cultural history of the Pader natural area and a presentation of our thoughts on the design of new learning sites along the city river. We were able to end the first meeting with a constructive and informative discussion round.

In consultation with the group, we will now arrange two follow-up appointments “in the field”, during which we would like to explore the Pader with them on site from the sources to the estuary and take a closer look at the learning sites on history and ecology.
