Photo exhibition by Saskia Damrau at Königsplatz

7 November 2025
We are delighted that Saskia Damrau is exhibiting her pictures on the theme of ‘Am Fluss von Paderborn’ (On the River of Paderborn) in our space at Königsplatz. The exhibition was originally created in 2025 during an extra-curricular internship in collaboration with Paderborn City Library.
It is inspired by Esther Kinsky's novel Am Fluss (By the River, 2014) and addresses ecological and social issues in the context of the Anthropocene. The aim was to show how literary studies can enrich social debates, such as those on climate change, by opening up new perspectives on the environment and the city.
Those interested can view the exhibition until the end of the year, every Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. and every Thursday between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the ‘Stadt-Mensch-Fluss Büro’ at Königsplatz 12.
She introduces herself and her project once again on our Instagram channel: To the reel.
