The River Pader at Paderborn Central Station

Since last week, a new sign at Paderborn Central Station has been drawing attention to the European Heritage Label 2025. Located on the tunnel wall between platforms four and five, it provides information about the award that the urban river landscape of the Pader has been honoured to hold since the start of this year.

In collaboration with the association ‘Die Freunde der Pader e. V.’, the Office for Public Relations and City Marketing, together with the project office ‘Stadt. Mensch. Fluss. – The Pader for Europe’ were able to carry out the design and installation of the sign. “We are delighted to be able to showcase our project at one of the city’s central locations and to highlight the significance of the Pader as a European Cultural Heritage site throughout the city,” emphasise the project’s two programme managers, Brigitte Zacharias and Dr Michael Ströhmer. Special thanks also go to Deutsche Bahn for their excellent cooperation.
